An abnormal bicycle speed signal was detected from the speed sensor.
Operational restrictions being displayed
Assist will not be provided when riding.
Solution
Check that the speed sensor and magnet are properly installed. If the bicycle has been modified, undo the modifications, as the drive unit may enter the Safe Mode mentioned in error code E299.
